Update: Repowering now available in wake2e

An extension for repowering of WT is now available in wake2e.

The status “To be repowered” (status code: 3) can be assigned to a WT in the WT menu.

In the prior case (Situation prior to WT installation), this WT is active, while all newly planned WTs are inactive. In the default case (Situation after WT installation), this WT is automatically set to inactive, while all newly planned WTs become active.

This new feature can be used to model the repowering of WT locations: In the prior case, the WT to be replaced is active and the planned WT is inactive. In the default case, it is the other way around. In the results view, the difference between the situation before repowering and after repowering can therefore be seen directly in the differences at the existing WTs.

The WT to be repowered is set to “inactive” in the default case (calculation variant 2) and the default case is decisive for the presentation of the WT in the results tables. It is therefore important to ensure that “Inactive WT” is selected in the results filter so that the inactive WTs are displayed in the results tables.

The new version also contains an update to the wind speed range, which is to be used as the basis for evaluating the turbulence intensity. The range is automatically extended for close turbine spacing. This change has no influence on the calculation results. However, it does affect the automatic evaluation of the results as shown in the calculation report.
